# Overview

The $BAM token is the Bamboo apps reward token.

## Purpose

The purpose of BAM is to reward and encourage the Bamboo community to dollar cost average into the digital currency market. 

BAM will be used as the pillar for all future updates to the Bamboo app, including our BAM rewards program initially. 

The BAM tokens main purpose and utility will be within the Bamboo app. 

## What is it?

The $BAM token is an ERC20 token on the Ethereum Blockchain.
