# BAM Rewards

BAM Rewards aims to reward Bamboo users for active participation on the Bamboo platform.

## Overview

BAM rewards is the first iteration of the BAM token implementation. Bamboo gives users the opportunity to earn rewards based on in-app activity.&#x20;

BAM is the token we use for rewards on the Bamboo App. Each time you are eligible for a reward we allocate BAM to your portfolio. To access the rewards you need to select the option in your account. Users must also maintain 2% of the BAM in your portfolio users are eligible to get BAM rewards.

## Earning Rewards

User’s have the opportunity to earn rewards on the following activities:

* **1.5 BAM for every $50 you top-up.**
* **4 BAM per month with recurring payments turned on.**
* **Extra 5 BAM when you refer a friend.**&#x20;
* **We burn 12 BAM per month if you have round-ups on**:&#x20;
